Currently serving as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Simplata Solutions, Joel leads strategic initiatives to increase revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition. He is responsible for defining growth strategy, leading market expansion, and driving cross-functional alignment while building scalable marketing and sales programs. His leadership focuses on breaking down silos, modernizing growth strategies, and delivering predictable pipeline and revenue performance.

Previously, Joel served as Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Regional Marketing Officer, Americas at TUV Rheinland, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. In this role, he led marketing strategy and execution across the Americas, managing a team of 23 while supporting a regional workforce of 2,200. His leadership contributed to a 15% increase in $151M in annual revenue through enhanced demand generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.

Earlier in his career, Joel held senior leadership roles in marketing, sales, and business development at organizations including Scuderia Partners, DEKRA North America, and Intertek. Across these roles, he led global and regional initiatives spanning marketing, sales strategy, and business growth in a broad range of industries.

With more than 30 years of executive experience, Joel has built and scaled marketing and sales organizations across both publicly traded and privately held companies in industries including technology, telecommunications, internet, and wireless. He brings deep expertise in executive leadership, corporate growth strategy, and commercial operations.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Joel has served as an advisory board member and strategic advisor for organizations focused on regulatory compliance and SaaS-based supply chain solutions, providing guidance on go-to-market strategy, market expansion, and product positioning.
