Throughout his career, he has successfully aligned marketing, sales, business development, and customer success functions to drive customer acquisition, strengthen market position, and deliver sustained business growth across diverse industries worldwide.

His expertise spans go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), digital transformation, revenue operations, and commercial excellence.
Currently serving as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Simplata Solutions, Joel leads integrated growth initiatives spanning marketing, sales, and business development for a SaaS-based regulatory intelligence platform. He is responsible for driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, market expansion, and commercial strategy while building scalable growth engines designed to accelerate pipeline performance and profitability. His leadership emphasizes cross-functional alignment, organizational transformation, and data-driven decision-making to deliver predictable business outcomes.
Previously, Joel served as Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Regional Marketing Officer, Americas, for TUV Rheinland, a global testing, inspection, certification, and advisory services organization. In this role, he directed marketing strategy and execution across North and South America, leading a team of 23 professionals while supporting a regional workforce of more than 2,200 employees. Under his leadership, the organization achieved a 15% increase in revenue on a $151 million business through enhanced demand generation, customer acquisition, and customer engagement strategies.
Earlier in his career, Joel held senior leadership roles with Intertek, DEKRA North America, Scuderia Partners, and UL Solutions, where he led marketing, sales, business development, and market expansion initiatives supporting businesses across manufacturing, retail, consumer products, industrial, technology, telecommunications, and regulatory compliance sectors. Across these organizations, he consistently built and scaled commercial capabilities, launched new service offerings, expanded global partnerships, and accelerated revenue growth.
In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Joel has served as an advisory board member, strategic advisor, and fractional executive for organizations focused on SaaS, supply chain, and regulatory compliance solutions.
